The Georgia Cattlemen’s Association Convention will wrap up in Columbus, Ga. on Friday, March 15.

Throughout the convention attendees had the opportunity network with fellow producers, gather information about best practices for their operation and enjoy exceptional activities. As Georgia Junior Cattlemen’s Association members participated in various contests, adult members learned in the Forage Conference.

A 20,000 square foot trade show floor and many exhibitors along with Cattlemen’s College Sessions ensured something for everyone.

The 2024 convention theme was “Building the Herd”, highlighting the association’s commitment to developing the future generations of Georgia’s cattle industry.

On Thursday morning, producers had the opportunity to listen in on the Checkoff Highlights Session, which outlines the transparency and impact of the Beef Checkoff.
