If projections prove true, the new crop of U.S. cotton being planted will be larger than last season and will bring lower prices. USDA World Outlook Board Chairman, Seth Meyer, says world cotton consumption in this next crop year, at almost 116 million bales, will exceed projected production of 113 million bales.
