We recently spoke with Deanne Maples of the Florida Beef Council (FBC) about their Disney culinary experience during National Culinary Arts Month. Here is what she had to say.Ā

ā€œReally excited to be back with the Disney Culinary team. They were celebrating Culinary Arts Month for the month of July. So, we joined our friends at Buckhead Meat and Seafood of Central Florida and Cargill, and it is just a great time to spend with these culinary professionals who are taking our product and doing some pretty amazing things with it every day. We have a long-standing relationship that we greatly value with Disney Culinary,ā€ said Maples.

ā€œYou know, millions of people visit Walt Disney World each year, and I think, you know, the first thing you think about when you think about that place is attractions and entertainment, but food is such a big part of that Disney experience. And those chefs do such an outstanding job creating memorable dining experiences, and when you think about it, they’re, you know, for guests who come from all over the world with all different types of tastes and preferences and expectations. And so, for us, there’s a great beef story in that,ā€ added Maples.

ā€œOur ranchers work so hard to raise a safe, nutritious, high-quality product, and then these talented chefs take that beef, and they showcase it in some really creative ways. I think it’s such a special connection from the ranch to the chef to the guests, and we at the Florida Beef Council are just so honored and so grateful to be a part of it, to always be a resource for them, and that they allow us into their space where they’re doing, pardon the pun, some pretty magical things,ā€ Maples mentioned.
