Beef Cattle Marketing’s Out of Feedlots Hit Record Lows

USDA’s latest cattle on feed report shows the number of cattle and calves on feed for slaughter market in the United States for feedlots with capacity of 1,000 or more head totaled 10.6 million head on June 1, 2015, 1 percent above June 1, 2014. But, there’s more to the story.
