If you know of a middle or high school FFA chapter in Florida, please forward the attached Florida FFA Chapter program and contest to them. The rewards are significant for winning chapters: $5,000 first place, 3,000 second place, $1,000 third place. For those chapters who do not win, $500 will go to the first 30 chapters who participate. Help these chapters to be successful in creating an outreach program for their community that teaches responsible use and importance of fertilizer . This “Helping Communities Grow” program has been offered for two years and winning chapters have sustained their chapter objectives with these dollars. The attached one page form should be filled out and sent in to file the intent to participate by October 17th . Chapters have until December 16th to submit a plan with a timeline and the final project is due May, 2012.
