2008 Farm Bill has GA NRCS Focusing on Forest Lands

Georgia State Conservationist, James Tillman, has been out touring the state recently to get a closer look at some of the conservation initiatives that have been implemented through the Natural Resources Conservation Service. NRCS to Receive Additional WRP Funding

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack has announced funding for the Natural Resources Conservation Service’s (NRCS) Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP) that will add an expected 75,000 additional acres to the approximately 2.2 million acres currently enrolled in the program.
