U.S. Cattle Inventory Up 2 Percent
USDA’s National Agriculture Statistics Service has released their U.S. Cattle Inventory report, and the new numbers show a 2 percent increase over last year, at 93.6 million head. Here in the Southeast, the numbers show an increase of 4 percent in Alabama, a 1 percent increase in Florida, while Georgia’s cattle inventory is unchanged from last year.
