Mark Hudson of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (USDA/NASS) released the December citrus crop forecast. He reported Florida non-Valencia oranges for December at 36 million boxes, a drop of 1 million from the November forecast. Florida Citrus Mutual Members Comment on Citrus Crop Forecast
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued its initial forecast Friday pegging the 2015-2016 Florida orange crop at 80 million boxes, down 17 percent from last season.
