National Peanut Day is coming up September the 13th. It honors the versatility and the rich heritage of peanuts, which is a beloved snack in America. National Peanut Day is a chance to work some peanuts into a healthy diet, used in most any way with tasty lunchbox snacks or as tasty stir-fry sauce.

Peanuts make a great snack that can be taken anywhere, and with more protein than any other nut, they are also nutritious. In fact, they’re so great that they are the top-ranked snack in the U.S. And surprisingly though, in doing research, we found no congressional records or presidential proclamation making it a true national day. But it is on September the 13th, National Peanut Day, so pick up a snack and bring it to the office.

Also, they noted that peanut products provide a cost-effective plant-based protein meat as a meat option, with minimal labor investment that children love. Peanuts also versatile can be used in a variety of recipes, and because they are shelf-stable, peanut butter is also a food that is perfect for keeping in stock all the time. So, it’s National Peanut Day, coming up February the 13th, buy a snack and let’s have a good day.
