The National Peanut Board has announced they will have their board meeting and annual budget setting session July 27th through the 30th at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort in South Carolina. U.S. peanut grower representatives from all over the United States will review the National Peanut Board’s organizational priorities and help shape directions for fiscal year 2027 which starts in November.
Board members said they’re going to review an update on unifying their message to the public with their new theme, it’s not nuts it’s peanuts. That is now brand and the board will review and approve that budget for next year with their program of work. It’s good to know that Neil Baxley from South Carolina is in that area and he is on the board as chairman of the board.
He says that I am proud of the program that we’ve made together and I’m confident that where we are headed by aligning grower priorities with forward-thinking forward-looking programs, we are ensuring that the peanut industry remains profitable resilient and strong for generations to come. That comes from Neil Baxley as the National Peanut Board plans a meeting in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
