
The American Peanut Council has been busy promoting peanuts during the FIFA World Cup games.
They were in Mexico City during the start of the Cup Series. The American Peanut Council exhibited U.S. peanut products at the USA Pavilion at the World Cup Global Village in Mexico City. Alongside the U.S. Embassy, they represented the story of U.S. peanuts with special films and with special fans highlighting their nutrition, taste, and quality.
The American Peanut Council messaging in New Mexico focused on peanuts being an excellent source of protein and healthy fats that provide the energy you need when you cheer, when you play, and when you compete. Their theme was put energy in your day. That addition was spread all over billboards and other areas during the promotion.
Although the audience of these promotions are truly global, Mexico remains the number one export market for U.S. peanuts. APC and its members continue to strengthen that relationship through strategic promotions along in the Mexican area.
