Looking at the 2024 U.S. red meat export potential, the forecast is mixed. Strong growth on the pork side over the last year has set that market segment up for greater expansion. An approximate eight percent growth in pork exports in 2023 with another four percent expected in 2024, U.S. pork is well-positioned for further growth. Erin Borror, U.S. Meat Export Federation’s vice president of economic analysis, shares more.
