Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo Just Two Weeks Away

Dan Citrus, Citrus Expo News

AgNet Media is gearing up for one of the biggest years yet at the Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo, as more than 150 exhibitors from six different countries will be on hand for the event being held August 17-18 at the Lee Civic Center in North Fort Myers, Florida.

Of course the show is not just for citrus growers, as producers of over 16 different crops are registered for the event. And a quick reminder, the last chance to preregister online is Friday, Aug. 12.

Those attending the Expo will be among the first to receive the 2022-2023 University of Florida/IFAS Vegetable Production Handbook. It will be available in the Davidson House during the vegetable and specialty crop seminars as well as on the trade show floor in booth 315 and at the AgNet Media booth.

The newly elected Florida FFA officers will be walking the trade show floor on Wednesday with raffle tickets for the chance to win the ultimate backyard BBQ bundle, courtesy of Hays-LTI. The drawing will take place on the trade show floor during the networking reception on Wednesday.

Plus, attendees are being reminded to get your prize card stamped at Expo. All growers will receive a prize card at registration and once you get a stamp from every exhibitor listed on the card, you can submit your card at the AgNet Media booth for a chance to win a $1,000 cash prize.
