A report funded by the Soy Checkoff shows that U.S. animal agriculture’s consumption of U.S. soybean meal increased by one-million tons in the 2011-2012 marketing year. That’s meal from 42-million bushels of soybeans, and broilers and swine continue to be the two biggest soybean meal consumers by far.
