Vilsack Says Furloughs Won’t Compromise Food Safety

During a hearing with House Ag Committee Republicans this week, possible furloughs of meat inspectors was discussed as U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said these furloughs will not compromise the safety of meat and poultry products.
