Official Offers Insight On Citrus Acreage Report

 Candi Erick The USDA recently reported that Florida citrus acreage declined 1.3 percent to 568,814 acres over the past year. In one of the accompanying reports, Florida Agricultural Statistics Service Citrus Statistics Administrator Candi Erick tells some of the causes for the declines, and reports on abandoned citrus acreage. In the other report, she discusses the mechanics her agency used to move from its traditional every-other-year tree inventory to the new annual report.
