Citrus Statistics Administrator Candi Erick will provide the numbers for the broadcast immediately upon their release from the USDA Agricultural Statistics Board in Washington D.C.

Southeast AgNet is again the exclusive radio network source for this live coverage. An audio stream will also be available at the network’s Web site at http://www.southeastagnet.com/. The Web site audio stream will begin at approximately 8:10 a.m. during the online countdown. The radio network broadcast will go live at 8:29 a.m.

Southeast AgNet President Gary Cooper will anchor the broadcast from a special citrus growers’ breakfast near Alturas hosted by Ray-Bob Groves and sponsored by Stallings Crop Insurance, also sponsoring the live statewide network coverage and Web site audio stream.

“This year the citrus market has seen a good deal of fluctuation and at times record highs as FCOJ traders and others watch storm season and study impacts of crop diseases in Florida citrus groves,” Cooper explains. “This special live network program always has a strong and loyal statewide audience, and this year in particular the interest is as keen as ever.”

Southeast AgNet Radio Network is a three-state farm news service airing ag news weekdays year-round on more than 65 radio stations in Florida, Georgia and Alabama. Network programs include two daily citrus headlines airing throughout citrus-producing areas. Reports are archived at http://www.southeastagnet.com/.

Several Florida stations are expected to participate in the October 8, 2010 Citrus Crop Forecast live network broadcast.
