USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service in Alabama wants to remind producers that the cutoff date for both EQIP and WHIP is coming up tomorrow. And Jim Shrenkel a wildlife biologist with the Alabama NRCS says that since the programs are a continuous signup and applications do not expire after batching period’s farmers should go ahead and get their request in.
