WTO Arbitration Findings Delayed Again

The Arbitration Panel’s findings in the Brazil case will now not be released until August 31, Gary Adams, vice president of economics and policy analysis for the National Cotton Council, says this is the third announced delay by the World Trade Organization.

AL Receives Dollars for Floodplain Easements

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is providing dollars which will allow work to be done in Alabama with floodplain easements. John Curtis, Resource Conservationist with USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service in Alabama, said the work will take place in North Alabama.
