Thanks to all of those that came to the Sunbelt Ag Expo. We enjoyed seeing everybody, especially across our radio audience. Many people said they had heard us before. Hope you’ll tune in each day at this time to learn more about agriculture.
It was a great show, three days of fun activities, innovations, and inventions, and everybody having a great time. We enjoyed entertaining everyone by serving hot grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The Housewives of Tifton said they served about 3,500 sandwiches split in half.
That’s about 7,000 tastings sponsored by Jif and Smuckers, providing peanut butter and jelly. It was a great tasty nutritious treat as we talked to lots of people who said this is the reason I came to the Sunbelt, just to get my grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Birdsong Peanuts was also active.
They helped the commission serve thousands of samples of tasty fried peanuts as people came to visit around the Sunbelt Ag Expo. Make sure you’re planning for next year, be about the same time in October, and we’ll have the 49th edition and then the big one, the 50th years of the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, Georgia.
