Three days of fantastic agricultural fun. 800 exhibitors have signed up and it’s going to be a big day. Livestock seminars will highlight that area.
We’ll have seminars on sheep and goat, equine, dairy, and poultry. University researchers are located at each barn to answer any questions you have for those industries. The backyard garden area focuses on topics for the specialty gardeners.
Flint River Fresh, created by the Flint River Salt and Water Conservation District, will run with a Fernando Jackson, Farmer Frito they call him. He’ll organize a display and attract many hobby gardeners and enthusiasts at the show. A bounty of information on gardening will be displayed and watch for all things pollinator bees will be around.
The research farm is open and will be ready. 530 acres of research area. Demonstrations will showcase the KMC Stalk Shredder, and we’ll also talk to farmers about how to gather your hay, all the hay and equipment as it runs through in the farm setting.
