The end of the month and the end of the quarter could make for an interesting end to the week. Hard to believe we begin the fourth quarter tomorrow.
We end the third quarter today with the quarterly grain stocks report. We expect few surprises, but it is always interesting to see how much grain is still on farm storage and off farm storage, especially in corn. We were told producers sold a lot of beans early and stored corn but have sold large amounts of both the past two months.
December corn we think needs to hold at least that 520 area going into Friday. November soybeans have had a battle just above $13. This is the bottom-line report.
