Remembering 9-11

We join others never forgetting those lost 25 years ago this day, coordinated terrorist attacks in New York, Washington DC, and those who thwarted an additional attack crashing in a field in rural Pennsylvania. We pause and we remember.

This is the Bottom-Line Report.

A monthly supply demand and production estimate seems less urgent today, yet the grain trade awaits USDA numbers. We mentioned yesterday there’s a three to ten bushel per acre difference in what private groups are seeing this year’s corn crop. USDA was one eighty point three for a national yield in August.

Several private estimates are at or below 173, some closer to 183. December corn seems comfortable near five dollars thirty cents, November soybeans holding thirteen dollars or better.
