We may not be getting the full story on the amount of oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Reuters and other wire services now report that more oil could be making its way on dark ships. Those are smaller ships, transponders turned off to make detection much more difficult, and then meeting up with larger tankers waiting on the other side to offload the oil and proceed to friendly ports around the world, including the U.S. Elsewhere, Russia’s main Black Sea port at Novorossiysk resumed oil loadings last Sunday.

They can load approximately 700,000 barrels of oil a day. This is the bottom-line report. Farm Progress Show opening next Tuesday in Boone, Iowa.
