Wall Street, ending the first week of August near or in record territory. Stocks have rallied as companies continue piling up profits and oil prices continue to ease.

Despite worries about higher inflation, Iran, Russia, Ukraine, Wall Street is setting records. Stock prices tend to follow the path of corporate earnings over the long term. Interestingly, one of the companies mentioned Caterpillar.

Over $20 billion in sales and revenue for the quarter has happened for the very first time in any quarter. This is the Bottom-Line report. Looking at some of the stock values of other agricultural companies, Bottom Line analysts show that year-to-date, AGCO Corporation stock is up 11%, Kubota up 21%, Bayer up 24%, and Corteva and Deere and Company up 30%.
