Well, it’s time to take a break and visit some peanut field days and other ag field days to see what the new varieties are bringing on.
Some also updates on weed and disease control along with insects. There are peanut days around the corner. Here are a few in the next few days.
August the 5th, Southwest Georgia Extension and Research Field Day will be held in Plains, Georgia. August the 5th. August the 12th, the Southeast Georgia Research and Education Center Field Day will be held in Midville, Georgia.
That is August the 12th in Midville. August the 13th, the Florida Peanut Field Day will be held at the North Florida Research and Education Center. That will be in Mariana, Florida.
And then August the 18th will be the pre-harvest meeting of the American Peanut Shellers and the Buying Point Association. That will be held at the Double Gate Country Club in Albany, Georgia on August 18th and 19th. On August the 19th, the Binary will be hosting a program to talk about the future of peanuts sponsored by the shellers and buying points.
Then on August the 20th, West Florida Row Crop Extension Field Day will be held at Jay, Florida. That’s coming up August the 20th. Updates on peanut meetings.
