We caught up with Erin Beasley of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association (ACA) to hear more about their upcoming meetings. “Well, we want our membership to know that we’ve got another set of summer regional meetings that will be taking place this month. We have July the 9th, that will be our Black Belt regional meeting right there in Valley Grand, and then the next week on the 16th will be the River Region meeting taking place in Wetumpka,” said Beasley.
“As we’ve done so far this summer, these meetings are a great educational piece as we have partnered with Extension to provide a lot of great educational programs leading up to the meal that will take place at these events, and then the Cattlemen’s Association will do a membership meeting during the meal. And so, we want producers to get RSVP’d for those. They are free to attend, but we need to know that you’re coming for the meal count, and really want to thank our sponsors that have come alongside us for these meetings,” Beasley added.
“They are set up at each one, and great chance for any of the producers that attend to visit with them and be a part of what they have going on. And I just want to encourage folks to take part in these two meetings this summer that we have coming up in July, and of course, we’ll have one more that will take place in August that will be an add more to wrap up the series.
