
The end of June brings another round of quarterly reports as the second quarter comes to a close, and that starts today, the quarterly hogs and pigs report. By the way, I wonder if pork is going to be on the menu at the White House today.
President Trump hosting farmers and ranchers from 12 states at a dinner in the Rose Garden. Ag Secretary Rollins, Treasury Secretary Besant, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and other cabinet members will also be attending. The quarterly report, we only have four years, so the trade watching very closely.
Early estimates showing all hogs number up 1%, the breeding herd down 1%, market inventory of hogs up 1%. This is the Bottomline report. Quarterly cold storage report also comes today.
The final planted acres and quarterly grain stocks numbers come next Tuesday.
