The Georgia Peanut Commission reminds peanut growers and industry leaders to mark their calendars for this year’s 27th Annual Southern Peanut Growers Conference, scheduled for July 21-23, at the Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort, Panama City Beach, Florida. This year’s conference offers farmers an opportunity to learn more about legislative issues, peanut promotions and production issues.
The registration fee for growers is $275 which includes all conference events and meals. The registration fee increases by $75 on June 16.
The theme for this year’s conference, “Farming is a Circus,” plans to focus on the struggles farmers face with health, weather, mental health along with a Washington update.
