After Secretary of Agriculture, Brooke Rollins, launched The Great American Cotton Plan last week, several agriculturalists and political leaders have voiced support on this movement. Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper made a post on X speaking of the impact this will make for Georgia.

“We are so excited and thankful to Secretary Rollins and the Trump administration for rolling out the Great American Cotton Plan” Harper said.

“This plan is going to go a long way in supporting our Georgia farmers and producers, our American farmers and producers and our cotton industry across this country and ensure that we continue to open up market access, but at the same time, allow opportunity for our consumers to have a better understanding of why it’s important to wear cotton. You can stay cool by wearing cotton. It is now the official fabric of the great state of Georgia, thanks to the General Assembly and the legislature this past session and the signature of Governor Brian Kemp to help make that happen” Harper added.

Harper finished by saying, “So, thanks to Secretary Rollins and the administration for their support of the American producer and our American consumers. Stay cool, wear cotton, and y’all keep plowing.”
