Alabama Cattlemen’s Association Hosts Fall Board Meeting to Plan for 2026
It’s a busy week for the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association (ACA) as they host their Fall Board of Directors Meeting, the final quarterly gathering of the fiscal year. We caught up with Erin Beasley, Executive Vice President of the ACA, to learn more about what members can expect.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming all of our county presidents and leadership to town towards the end of the week,” Beasley said. “This will be our last quarterly meeting of the fiscal year and a chance for us to look ahead to 2026. We’ll be passing some budgets, which is always something that has to take place this time of year.”
One of the highlights of the meeting will be the presentation of red coats to the ‘over-the-top’ county presidents who achieved membership growth this year compared to last year. Beasley added, “It’s always a great time celebrating those accomplishments. Thank you to our sponsor, Momentum Ag, who will be in attendance to help us give out those coveted red coats.”
The event will also feature guest speakers from Auburn University, along with several committee meetings focused on future planning and key priorities for the year ahead.
Beasley noted that 2025 has been a strong year for the association, both operationally and financially. The fall meeting provides an opportunity to review achievements, share updates, and outline goals for the next fiscal cycle.
The ACA Board of Directors is composed of all 67 county presidents, state officers, and regional vice presidents, making it one of the largest and most engaged agricultural boards in the state.
As the association prepares to close out its business for 2025, the meeting underscores ACA’s continued commitment to supporting Alabama’s cattle industry and its members across the state.
