AL Livestock Market Report:
At Alabama Livestock Auctions, for the week ended March 28, 2025, receipts at 16 markets totaled 9,214 head compared to 7,568 last week and 9,472 last year. Compared to last week: Slaughter cattle sold steady with an increase in receipts from last week. Feeder cattle sold 3.00 to 10.00 higher. Trade active with good to very good demand on feeder cattle.  An increase in replacement cattle sales was noted likely due to warm weather and green grass. Replacement cattle sold steady. Year-to-date receipts totaled 108,576 compared to 124,139 last year.
