
Many segments of U.S. agriculture will be affected by tariffs, including the red meat industry. As Rusty Halvorson reports, red meat exports would take a significant hit from a tariff war.
According to the latest export report from the U.S. Meat Export Federation, U.S. beef exports were more than $415 per fed steer or heifer, and pork exports totaled more than $66 per head.
