The Georgia Peanut Commission reminds growers and industry leaders that registration is ongoing for the Southern Peanut Growers Conference scheduled for July 17 to July 19 at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa in Savannah, Georgia.
This year’s theme is entitled, “Rollin’ on the River.” The three-day event will be held at the hotel and will provide attendees with information pertinent to peanut production, legislative issues, marketing and promotions.
The agenda will include multiple general sessions on Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19, a keynote speaker during Thursday’s lunch and also a tour of the Port of Savannah on Thursday afternoon.
The annual event is designed for members of the Southern Peanut Farmers Federation, which includes growers from Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi.
