The Florida Peanut Federation (FPF) wants growers in the state to know about three events they have coming up over the next few days. One is the Hamilton County preseason meeting on Thursday, February 22nd at the Hamilton County Extension Office in Jasper, starting at 5:00pm EST. Speakers will discuss varieties, diseases, economics, trials, and more. A meal is included, but if you plan to attend please RSVP by calling 386-792-1276.
Then this Saturday, February 24th, the FPF will hold their annual membership meeting and banquet, starting at 6:00pm EST at the Florida Gateway Fairgrounds in Lake City.
And on March 5th, the FPF invites growers to the Lafayette County Peanut Production meeting. It will take place at the Mayo Community Center in Mayo starting at 5:00pm EST. Speakers will discuss various topics and a meal will be provided. If planning to attend, please RSVP by calling 386-294-1279.
