AL Livestock Market Report:
At Alabama Livestock Auctions receipts at 17 markets totaled an estimated 9,626 head compared to 3,319 last week and 8,054 a year ago. Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher, slaughter bulls sold mostly steady. All feeder classes sold sharply higher. Trade active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cows sold steady. Year to date receipts totaled 23,532 compared to 46,864 year ago.
