The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) is accepting applications until Friday, March 10 for the 2023 Environmental Stewardship Award. The annual award program recognizes outstanding stewardship practices and conservation achievements of U.S. cattle producers.

Any group, individual, or organization is eligible to nominate one individual or business raising or feeding cattle. Individuals and families may not nominate themselves, although nominees may be involved in preparing the application. Along with a typed application, one nomination letter and three letters of recommendation highlighting the nominee’s leadership in conservation are required. Nominees don’t have to be NCBA members but should support the objectives of their state and national organizations.

Regional winners will be announced during the 2024 Cattle Industry Convention in Orlando, Florida. For more information click here.
