The Job of the Cattlemen‘s Beef Board

The Cattlemen‘s Beef Board (CBB) is responsible for overseeing the collection of the Beef Checkoff and funding their various programs. CBB Vice-Chair, Jimmy Taylor from Oklahoma, recently explained to AgNet Media how those dollars are used each year.

The Cattlemen’s Beef Promotion and Research Board, usually referred to as the Cattlemen’s Beef Board, consists of 101 members. That includes domestic beef, dairy and veal producers, as well as importers of beef and beef products.
