USDA to Host Hurricane Recovery Disaster Outreach

(NRCS/GAINESVILLE, FL/December 5, 2022) — The U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is hosting a disaster assistance and hurricane recovery outreach on December 6, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., at the Federal Emergency Management (FEMA) tent located at 5675 Sesame Dr. Bokeelia, Florida 33922.

Representatives from USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will be at the SW corner inside the large white FEMA tent. USDA staff will provide information and assistance to farmers, ranchers, and agricultural landowners affected by Hurricane Ian in efforts to help them apply for programs that can help with restoration and rehabilitation of farm and ranch land.
