Back on July 1st, the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) Southwest Florida Research and Education Center (SWFREC) in Immokalee saw a new director at the helm. UF/IFAS Senior Vice President Dr. Scott Angle told Southeast AgNet that person is Dr. Michael Burton, who has a strong background in agronomy.
