The field day will highlight research funded by the respective commissions and coordinated by university researchers. Both cotton and peanut producers will be able to ask questions directly to the scientists and express opinions and concerns pertinent to the production of their crops.

Presentations will include research involving pest and disease management, weed control, breeding, variety testing and fertility needs.

The event will start at 8 a.m. at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Conference Center and involve field tours at the RDC Pivot and the UGA Lang Farm. Attendees will return to the conference center for lunch and a short program. The field day is a free event, though attendees are encouraged to RSVP to Ashley Golden at Ashley.golden@uga.edu or by calling 229-386-3366.
