According to Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES), while parts of the cotton crop in the state have been affected by drought and heat, the lower coastal region of Southwest Alabama has received excessive rainfall. But, Cotton Agronomist Steve Brown notes this year’s Alabama cotton crop is still very promising.
Southeast AgNet’s Randall Weiseman talked to Brown about how this year’s crop is great in some places, while it is struggling a bit in others.
