Cattle producers across the Southeast are invited to take part in the Gulf Coast Cattlemen’s Conference. The one-day event will be held Friday, August 12 in Atmore, Alabama.
This conference is focused on issues and production practices specific to cattlemen on the Gulf Coast. Speakers from across the Southeast will be featured, covering information for both stocker and cow-calf producers.
Some of the topics that will be discussed include being a beef industry advocate, beef imports/exports and the roles they play in market prices, market outlook/price protection opportunities, reducing input costs, saving money on your fertilizer bill, managing bahiagrass and winter annuals and stockpiling bahiagrass.
There will also be a full vendor trade show.
