The Sunbelt Ag Expo staff has announced due to wet field conditions, the 2022 Field Day event which was scheduled for July 21st has been postponed.
They note the much needed rain from a dry spring has left the fields in an impassable condition. Field Day at the Darrell Williams Research Farm is a driving experience for those interested in learning more about the new research being performed by private companies and universities.
Regrettably, they are postponing Field Day until August 2, 2022, to give the fields and roads some time to dry out. It will start at 8:00am Eastern time and run until 11:30am. When you arrive, just follow the signs through the field driveways, watch the videos at the stops, and speak with the reps and researchers firsthand about the work at their plot.
They hope to see everyone in a couple of weeks.
