USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Florida would like to remind producers and landowners across the state that they will be conducting a State Technical Committee meeting via web conference on Wednesday, January 26, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm Eastern. The NRCS meeting, which is open to the public, will provide a report for natural resource and program priority decisions and they will also seek recommendations.

Materials for the meeting are available on the NRCS State Technical Committee website. These are the WebEx meeting details:

The State Technical Committee is composed of individuals and groups from a variety of agricultural and natural resource interests, as well as farmers. And while the Committee has no implementation or enforcement authority, USDA does give strong consideration to their recommendations. The meeting will be chaired by NRCS Florida State Conservationist Juan Hernandez.

Additional program information is available on the Florida NRCS website, or at your local USDA Service Center.
