Cattle producers from across Alabama are in Montgomery today for the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association (ACA) Fall Quarterly Board Meeting. Various issues are being discussed, including an update on the Beef Checkoff program and the proposed budgets for 2022.
But ACA President Elect, Jim Jordan from Clay County, explained to Southeast AgNet’s Randall Weiseman that this is not the only event cattle producers in the state are involved with today. In his home county they are serving steak sandwiches to those who served our country on this Veteran’s Day.
Jordan is just one of the many producers attending the ACA’s Fall Board meeting. To learn more about the association, go to the ACA website.
