The Georgia Cotton Commission (GCC) reminds growers about the organization’s annual meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Conference Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Georgia Cotton Commission Executive Director Taylor Sills discusses the significance of the meeting.
“Plans are definitely underway. The Georgia Cotton Commission’s annual meeting will be Jan. 26, the last Wednesday in January. I encourage all growers to make plans to attend. I know it’s a long way out, but meeting season is approaching pretty quickly,” Sills said. “We’re going to have lots of updates on things related to economics and policy and even things like the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol. It’ll be a great way for all the cotton industry to come back together after taking a year off, engage together and fellowship.”
The Georgia Cotton Commission Annual meeting was held virtually in 2021 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
