Cotton and peanut producers are invited to the annual University of Georgia (UGA) Cotton and Peanut Research Field Day, Sept. 4, on the UGA Tifton campus and at UGA research farms in Tift County.
Members of the UGA Cotton Team and UGA Peanut Team will discuss various research efforts in variety selection, plant disease, insect pressure, soil fertility and irrigation. Georgia Cotton Commission’s Richey Seaton says it is an event where producers can learn about research efforts funded by their checkoff dollars.
