Florida Cattlemen Hold Legislative Quarterly

Dan Cattle, Florida, Legislative

Meatballs, cheese trays, steak bites, swamp cabbage fritters and more draw a crowd to taste test products of Florida’s cattle and dairy industries during one of the biggest legislative events of the Session each year

This week the Florida Cattlemen’s Association (FCA) held their annual Legislative Quarterly in Tallahassee, which included their Boots on the Hill event. FCA Director of Governmental Affairs, Sam Ard, says they had really good feedback from the legislators they met with. He also discusses the new report from the University of Florida/IFAS showing just how important beef and dairy production have become to the state’s economy.
