The U.S. House of Representatives passed its version of the farm bill Thursday afternoon by a slim margin, 213-211. The second vote on the bill again received no support from House Democrats. But during a teleconference this morning, House Agriculture Chairman Michael Conaway of Texas said he looks forward to working with the Senate to deliver an on-time farm bill.
